Wellard from EastEnders was sixth, followed by Doctor Who's K9.
The Simpsons' dog Santa's Little Helper, Bouncer from Neighbours and Snoopy completed the top 10.
Millan, known as The Dogman due to his ability to work with the animals, said: "Lassie is one reason I wanted to become the best dog trainer."
