ITV pulls plug on multi-channel sales

Following massive job losees in ITV's Central region last month, the next division to suffer is ITV's multichannel sales arm.
The department - which sells adverts for ITV2, the ITV News Channel and the Granada channels - will lose half of its 20-strong staff when it is integrated into the network's business development unit.
ITV sources told Broadcast that there was duplication between the clients handled by the BDU and the multi-sales teams.
