Drinking Games: 'Gavin & Stacey'
Published Thursday, Dec 18 2008, 06:00 GMT | By Alex Fletcher

Rule One - Drink a shot each time you hear the phrases "What's Occurin'", "Genuine" and "Tidy".
Rule Two - Swig a glass of mulled wine each time Nessa starts one of her tales with the line, "I'm not gonna lie to you".
Rule Three - Quaff down some eggnog each time you spot 'vegetarian' Pam eating a bit of turkey or a pig in a blanket.
Rule Four - Nick a bit of your gran's sherry each time there's a joke about James Corden's weight - How many roast potatoes do you want Smithy!
Rule Five - Eat a chocolate liqueur each time Smithy greets the Shipmans as "Gav-La!" and "Pam-La!"
Rule Six - Knock back a glass of brandy any time one of the cast bursts into a sing-song to a modern Christmas classic.
Rule Seven - Have a snifter of whiskey each time there's an awkward moment of silence between new parents Smithy and Nessa.
Rule Eight - Chug some white wine if your mum/gran gets confused about Mick (Larry Lamb) looking a lot like the bad man in EastEnders.
Rule Nine - Wash that down with a beer if you spot filthy Welsh pensioner Doris swearing or making a sexual advance on a young gentleman.
Rule Ten - Drink some eggnog if Uncle Bryn gets a little over excited about something very small. Previous classic Bryn moments include his almost orgasmic response to a "power shower" and "peanut and jelly sandwiches".
Rule Eleven - Crack into the Baileys every time Stacey describes one of her Christmas presents as "lush".
Rule Twelve - Finish off all your remaining drinks if the details of Uncle Bryn and Jason's 'fishing trip' are finally revealed.
This feature is intended to entertain only. Digital Spy does not advocate binge drinking.
