'The Apprentice' coming to UK

The latest hit US reality series, The Apprentice, is on the verge of being sold to a UK broadcaster, C21 reports today.
The show, which sees sixteen budding entrepreneurs competing for a place in billionaire Donald Trump's empire, regularly draws over 20 million viewers in the US.
Distributor Fremantle confirmed today that a deal for the show in the UK was "imminent".
The format has already been sold to Australia, France and New Zealand, where local versions will air after transmission of the US original.
