Tabloid reports have claimed that David Schwimmer will appear on the new series of Who Do You Think You Are?.
The Friends actor, 42, will trace his family heritage back to Eastern Europe on the BBC programme, according to The Sun.
"It's a tribute to the show that A-list stars are lining up to appear on Who Do You Think You Are?," said a source.
"The last series had a great lineup with some very shocking stories and secrets unveiled. We have to do our best to make the next just as good."
Jerry Springer, Ainsley Harriott, Boris Johnson and Patsy Kensit were among the celebrities on the last series.
Schwimmer's former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow is the co-executive producer of the American version of the genealogy show.
