Jamil, who has recently been working on E4 Music and Freshly Squeezed with Nick Grimshaw, will start on T4 weekends in February.
The London-born presenter and former model joins Steve Jones, Rick Edwards, Miquita Oliver and Alexa Chung on the show. Previous T4 hosts include Vernon Kay, June Sarpong and Dermot O'Leary.
"Over the last three months, I have never had more fun," she said. "It is so incredible to have a job that you look forward to going to so much. I'm terrified because I've been watching T4 for as long as I can remember!
"I look up to people like June and Dermot, and feel stupidly privileged to be working with the likes of Rick, Miquita, Steve and Alexa."
Head of T4 Neil McCallum said: "We're delighted to add such a vibrant and talented presenter to the T4 team today and look forward to her debut appearance. She is funny, irreverent and effervescent and will add an exciting new dimension to the programme."
