'Noel's House Party' for one-off return?

Noel Edmonds has apparently been approached about the idea, while a source told The Mirror that if talks go well a Saturday night series could be in the pipeline.
"It was a softly, softly approach because of the fall-out after the show was axed in 1999. The BBC, though, is determined to make it happen," the insider revealed.
Noel’s House Party made Mr Blobby a household name in the mid 1990s until the show was axed due to falling viewing figures. At the time, Edmonds voiced his anger with the then BBC1 controller Peter Salmon, stating: "I refuse to be seen as somebody who has been axed by Salmon. He axed the shows, but he can’t axe the man."
