Five gets 'CSI: NY' rights

Five has secured the UK broadcast rights to the latest CSI: Crime Scene Investigation spin-off, CSI: NY.
Ted Riley, Head of International Distribution at Alliance Atlantis said: "We are very happy to see that Five has continued its strong commitment to the CSI franchise and we are confident that CSI: NY will prove to be every bit as successful as its predecessors."
The penultimate episode of CSI: Miami this season will introduce viewers to the CSI: NY cast, headed by Gary Sinise.
Jeff Ford, Managing Editor and Director of Acquisitions at Five, said: "I am delighted to be able to confirm that Five has bought the exclusive rights to the latest in the CSI franchise, CSI: NY, underlining Five's commitment to America's Finest programming."
