Fresh from serving up The O.C., Channel 4 have picked up the rights to the other acclaimed US teen drama of the season, One Tree Hill.
The series, shown on the WB network in the States, stars Chad Michael Murray (of Dawson's Creek fame) as an intense loner whose life takes a turn when he is asked to join the highschool basketball team.
E4 will begin airing the first season in July, using Big Brother as a launchpad for the show.
Elsewhere, C4 have taken off The O.C. midway through its first season to make way for ten weeks of Big Brother but promise that it will be back on air in the Autumn.
