Sky has confirmed that the programme, made as a one-off last year with Fearne Cotton and Ben Shepherd, will return for an eleven-part series in April.
The Outline Productions show will ask members of the public and celebrities to attempt to break new records in a series of large-scale challenges.
"Sky1 is delighted to have Steve and Konnie at the helm of this fantastic new series," said Emma Read, Sky's commissioning editor for factual and factual entertainment.
"Guinness World Records Smashed! is a fun, accessible series that reinvents record-breaking and most importantly, the have-a-go spirit."
Guinness World Records Smashed! begins filming this month at Pinewood Studios.
