Hudson, 25, who found fame as Katy Harris in Coronation Street, admitted that she now feels more comfortable revealing her body on screen
"I've learnt so much in the last few years," she told Closer. "I feel like I've finally become a woman and have that confidence from getting older. I'm very confident about my new body now and think I'm in the best shape I've ever been in."
She added: "I'm ready to play much sexier, more grown-up roles. I'd love to be in a West End show like Chicago or Mamma Mia!, or in a period drama."
The Wild At Heart actress is currently dating former Corrie co-star Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs).
