Speaking to New! magazine, the singer revealed that she would jump at the chance to star alongside Julia McKenzie in the ITV1 programme.
"Really, I love the show. It's well written and has a great cast and I think I'd be great in it," she said.
Allen would not be the first member of her family to express an interest in the series. Back in 2006, her father Keith guest-starred in a series two episode called 'The Moving Finger'.
Her latest single 'The Fear' has just celebrated a fourth week as the UK number one.
