'MasterChef' winner 'will not rush'
The winner of MasterChef has said that he will not rush into starting a new restaurant, even though he would like to.

Mat Follas told the Daily Mail that he would like to open an eatery in Dorset which is big enough to hire a professional chef to work with.

He said: "The plan is to do it. I would love to set up one right now but the housing market has kind of put an end to the initial way of financing it.

"I'm not going to rush. I would love to run straight into a restaurant right now. But that's a very quick way of getting yourself into financial trouble."

He added that he would continue working this year in order to raise the funds to be able to set up his own restaurant.

Follas came out on top in yesterday's final with his trio of rabbit, spider crab thermidor and lavender mousse with honeycomb and blackberry sauce.
