Moyles ready for Morgan ratings feud

Chris Moyles has promised to reignite his feud with Piers Morgan when their shows go head-to-head in the ratings next month, a report claims.

The Radio 1 DJ described Morgan as "deluded" last year, prompting the Britain's Got Talent judge to respond by labelling his rival "podgy" and "cowardly".

Moyles's new Channel 4 programme Chris Moyles' Quiz Night is expected to be scheduled against Morgan's ITV1 chatshow Piers Morgan's Life Stories when it launches on March 22.

A Channel 4 insider told the Daily Record: "Chris has more than seven million listeners on Radio 1, so a lot of them will tune into his show. He will have plenty to say next month about going up against Piers. He's not a fan."

However, a source close to Morgan insisted that he is "very confident" about coming out on top in the ratings battle. The premiere episode of his show, which featured an interview with Sharon Osbourne, attracted 4.48m viewers last weekend.
