Reality TV Academy opens in London

A reality TV Academy has been opened in London for people who want to be cast in reality TV shows.
The Academy will help hopefuls with workshops based around the processes of auditions and applications. The establishment, which is based in Hammersmith, will teach applicants about finding opportunities and creating 'slice of life' videos to catch a producer's eye.
Students will be given mock auditions in front of cameras and are also allowed the chance to meet a former reality TV star, who will talk about their experiences.
Reality TV Academy will take on potential models, business people, singers and chefs. The organisers are freelance TV professionals who have previously made and cast reality shows.
"Some people fall the the first hurdle when they apply, they choose the wrong photos and don't give the answers that will capture the imagination," said Academy bosses.
"Then if they do make it to the audition they say the wrong things or don't get themselves across to the producers. Getting on a reality show is a bit like being interviewed for a job, you only have a few minutes to shine. You would prepare for a job interview, why not for a reality TV show?"
