The actor, who plays Freddie in the teen show, told FemaleFirst that all the stars come from close-knit families.
Pasqualino said: "Oh, we're brilliant friends.
"A lot of the time you get people from different backgrounds and they've all got such different viewpoints on life... and you know you can't see them getting on, but we all get on like a house on fire."
He added that he won the part of Freddie via an open audition after a four-and-a-half hour wait.
