One thousand women were questioned in the poll, with fifth place going to Luke Hamill for Casualty's Dr Adam Truman.
The top 10 was rounded off by Zach Braff's Dr Jonathan 'JD' Dorian in Scrubs at number six, Dick Van Dyke's Dr Mark Sloane in Diagnosis Murder at seven, and Patrick Dempsey's Dr Derek Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy at eight.
Alan Fletcher's Dr Karl Kennedy in Neighbours was ninth, and Julian McMahon's Dr Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck tenth.
