MTV have offered the trio a deal worth £1 million to film the fly-on-the-wall series, which would be shown all around the world.
"The show could make them global stars. The boys are massive in the UK, Europe and Japan and this could widen the net to America," an insider told the newspaper. "They are young, fun and up for it — all the ingredients that will make the show great viewing.
"Producers like that the boys have really different personalities which will come across on the show. There’s Matt, who is continually on the lash, James is the organised, sweet one and Charlie is opinionated."
A spokesman for the chart-topping band said that the offer was "very exciting" but added that a deal had not yet been signed.
