'Postman Pat' renewed through 2010

The BBC have renewed kids favourite Postman Pat through 2010, Broadcast reports today.
The new order of 26 x 15-minute episodes comes on top of an initial order of 26 x 15-minute episodes and 4 x 30-minute specials currently in production for BBC Two and CBeebies.
The original series, launched in 1981, has been sold to over 65 countries worldwide.
