This year's Dancing On Ice ended last night with an impressive 10.8m (43.2%) for ITV1 between 7pm and 9pm.

The final, which saw Ray Quinn beat Donal MacIntyre and Jessica Taylor, had a peak audience of 12m at 8.30pm.

ITV1's audience figures dropped to 6.67m (29.7%) for its new series Lewis between 9pm and 11pm, but the channel remained ahead of its competitors.

Over on BBC One, the second episode of The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency pulled in 3.66m (14.3%) at 9pm, a drop of 1.58m from last week's opener. At 8pm, Antiques Roadshow took 3.8m (14.2%).

Yellowstone drew 3.69m (13.8%) for BBC Two during the 8pm hour. The audience then dropped to 2.38m (9.3%) for the penultimate episode of Monty Hall's Great Escape.

A new series of Secret Millionaire attracted 2.45m (9.6%) for Channel 4 at 9pm, with a further 214k (1.2%) watching the show on Channel 4+1. Last year, the third series of the show averaged 3.77m (16.7%) across its eight-week run.

Earlier, at 8pm, Come Dine With Me logged 1.2m (4.5%).

Five's screening of I Spy managed 631k (2.5%) between 7pm and 8.45pm, while Shallow Hal put in 1.2m (6.4%) between 9pm and 11.15pm.

ITV1 dominated primetime with an impressive 37% share to BBC One's 13.4%. BBC Two was third with 11.1%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.8% (+1: 0.7%) and Five with 4.3%.

Elsewhere, the new episode of Lost averaged 798k (3.4%) for Sky1 at 9pm, beating BBC Three's Two Pints Of Larger And A Packet Of Crisps, which took 439k (1.9%).

Sky1's Fringe grabbed 380k (2.3%) at 10pm, while 360k (2.1%) tuned in to Desperate Housewives on E4.
