Channel 4's reality hit Supernanny finished its first three-part run with a high of almost 7 million viewers last night (Wednesday).
The series began with 4.6 million viewers a fortnight ago, building to 5.7 million last week.
Yesterday's episode averaged 5.6 million viewers and a 27.2% share in the 9pm hour, peaking with 6.8 million (32.1%) in the final ten minutes.
Once again the channel beat out all other competition. The closest rival was ITV1's naval drama Making Waves, which had 3.7 million (18.1%).
The figures make Supernanny one of C4's top-rated shows of the year, meaning that a second series is now likely to follow.
