Britton rejects Schofield rift reports

The presenter announced that she would leave the show yesterday, with rumours surfacing that she was unhappy at Schofield receiving better pay and opportunities from ITV.
On today's programme, Britton said: "This is my first chance to tell you personally that I'm leaving. I realise that people like to speculate - rather hurtfully, it has to be said.
"But the real reason is that 10 years is a long time on any show and I'm ready for a change.
She added: "Working with Phil has been magical. But I also have another Phil [her husband] in my life and I want to slow down a little bit and enjoy life a bit.
"I'll be cheering on whoever the lucky person is who'll be working with Phillip, because he is, after all, simply the best."
Britton concluded, "Anyway, that's the end of that...", and mouthed the word "b*llocks".
