Coleen Nolan always felt she was ousted as This Morning presenter because she was overweight, but Fern was even more overweight for a lot of her 10 years, so give Coleen another chance.

Hello and good morning, My friends and I think Lorraine Kelly would be the perfect person to replace Fern.....We believe, that anyone else would be too much of a change and therefore wouldn’t feel right. As loyal viewers of your programme, way back when we waited with baited breath, to see if the weatherman would fall into the water, we wholeheartedly agree that, not only does Lorraine Kelly deserve this ,she would be fantastic!!!. This would be a seamless process, as many people would be unhappy with an “outsider” (no offence) coming in and changing things. Whereas our hearts and loyalty lie with the ever cheery, always smiling, Lorraine Kelly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please consider this ....or... ask your viewers to vote and call in etc.... We want Lorraine Kelly she is...................... THE BERRIES!!!!!!!!xxxxxxxxxxxx What do you think??? Food for thought though eh?? Xxxxxxxxxxxx Yours respectfully,

I'm really sad to think that Fern is leaving and she will certainly be a hard act to follow, I believe she is 'This Morning' and not Phillip. But one person who I think could step into her shoes apart from Ruth Langsford is Anne Diamond. Hopefully none of your suggestions above and please....... NOT Fiona Phillips.

Anybody but Fiona Phillips. She was awful on Loose Women the other day, so insincere with that pained expression on her face. Also is it was excrutiating watching her suck up to Gordon Brown on GMTV!

Gary Levine - Manchester on March 31st, 2009
Holly Willougby or Mel Sykes to take over from Fern Britton
Nick, Australia on March 31st, 2009
I would love Carol Vorderman to take it. Judy Finnegan would be good too. It would be nice to see her interact with someone other than Richard. For the love of god please do not let Holly get the gig. She is awful. I would never be able to watch this morning if she gets it.

RuthieB on March 30th, 2009
Already sent an email to ITV - Sarah Greene has to be the only replacement. On-screen chemistry - proven

Jonathan, London on March 30th, 2009
Wouldn't Sarah Greene be a good replacement? It'd be like watching Going Live! again. Phil and Sarah.
Joanne, West Yorkshire on March 30th, 2009
Gaby Roslin or Coleen Nolan
Chris, Manchester on March 30th, 2009
Coleen Nolan!! She's the entire package! Whitty, funny and a great presenter, yes it would mean she would have to quity the loose woman job but I think it would be a worthy change and one that ITV wouldn't regret!
T Benjamin London on March 30th, 2009
Absolutely love Fern Britton, sad she's leaving.Emma Forbes would be best suited ,and also Coleen Nolan, one of my favourite's on Loose Women: They both appeal to cross-over viewer's of all ages,as the show is aimed at that appeal, myself being 'mature viewer',and grown up with both!Myleene Klass definately not,Holly Willoughby nice as she is on XFactor, this is not suited to her.
sue---bristol on March 30th, 2009
melanie sykes to replace fern britton she gets my vote
Nicola, Ayr on March 30th, 2009
I don't care as long as they have a sense of humour but not too old-fashioned like Ruth. I want an older sister like figure like Fern.
Charlotte on March 30th, 2009
Gordon the Gopher! Highly unlikely but would be so funny! I would say someone similar to Fern Britton but brings a freshness to the show. Deffo not Myleene!
Callum, Leicester on March 30th, 2009
Sarah Greene - definitely.
Mel, London on March 30th, 2009
I think it should be either Davina McCall or Melanie Sykes. I love Holly Willoughby but she's a primetime presenter, moving to daytime would be a downgrade.
Dorothy Renfrewshire on March 30th, 2009
Andrea McLean would be fabulous
