I'd love to see Ruth and Eamonn take over completely! Otherwise it has to be Holly!!
Angela Birmingham on March 30th, 2009

I believe the only person to replace Fern is Colleen Nolan. She is funny and everyone loves her she proved that on Dancing on Ice.

I reckon Coleen Nolan should do it !! She was mentioed in the line up - and today loose women are running a comp for a new loose woman.. Could it be true. ? I hope so!

Anne Widecombe would be great.

Sarah, Macclesfield on March 30th, 2009
Lisa Tarbuck or Colleen Nolan (any of Loose Women!) Defo not Myleen or Holly, too young and silly..!
Jen, middlesex. on March 30th, 2009
Oh my God if it was Myleene I would go mental! We've seen her presenting live and she is SO FALSE!!! Have to turn the tele over even when her M&S advert comes on :( I think Emma Forbes would be perfect :)
Carol Flood on March 30th, 2009
I agree with Emma Forbes - she is lovely - although I adore Coleen Nolan but I don'y think she would do it as she lives in Blackpool area
Brekkie, Wales on March 30th, 2009
Daisy - for those of you with short memories Coleen Nolan did do the job when Richard and Judy quit, and wasn't that fab at all, though a lot better than Twiggy. When Fern was bought back in with John Leslie Coleen was still around to cover on Friday's, but I don't know if she survived through to Phil joining the programme.
Joanna Sheffield on March 30th, 2009
I think Kate Thornton would be perfect for the role - she has the experience.
James, Southampton on March 30th, 2009
Thank You - was beginning to think it was only me who saw Mylene Klass everywhere!!
Ian, Merstham on March 30th, 2009
My vote goes to Emma Forbes... she's fun, bubbly and a bit cheeky! Shame we don't get as vote eh? Unless they decided to run 'This Morning Idol!'
Daisy, Kent on March 30th, 2009
I think Coleen Nolan would be fab for the job!!
maddy, london on March 30th, 2009
Please not Myleene!
Jill, Essex on March 30th, 2009
Please not Myleene, Holly or Sarah Greene. All very irritating. Definitely not Ruth Langsford. Too earnest and boring. Lisa Tarbuck gets my vote.
drew, redhill on March 30th, 2009
it should be emma foebes!! it would be great to see her and phil together again.
Mel Sussex on March 30th, 2009
I think Holly Willoughby. Although she is younger than Fern Britton, she has a very warm personality which reflects that of Phillip Schofield's former presenter partner of the last 10 years. Holly already has a good on screen chemistry with Phillip because they both co - presented Dancing On Ice together so the two of them won't look awkward together on screen. That's my personal view anyway.
Martin, Oxford on March 30th, 2009
Lisa Tarbuck would be my choice. She's witty, warm and doesn't mince her words.
Claire, UK on March 30th, 2009
For those who'd like to see Ruth Langsford get the job, I have a support group at Facebook

Who cares? The programme and its format are way passed their sell by date and presenters of such dross are grossly overpaid. They seemingly appear in every programme imaginable despite most of them having little real talent. As for a successor to Fern Britton, well Gordon the Gopher seems an ideal replacement as he already has an established relationship with Schofield.
