Published Wednesday, Apr 1 2009, 09:22 BST | By Mayer Nissim

The programme - starring Anthony Head and Warren Clarke as a pair of retired burglars - began strongly last May with 4.7 million viewers. However, by the end of the six-part series, the audience had dropped to just 3 million.
A BBC spokesman told The Mirror: "In spite of a great cast and production team, The Invisibles didn't find its audience. We remain very proud of it but it won't be returning."
