'Supernanny' snapped up in US

Supernanny, which follows experienced disciplinarian Jo Frost as she tackles particulary unruly children, was ratings gold for C4 when it aired this month, peaking with a massive 7 million viewers.
A bidding war swiftly ensued between ABC and FOX in the States to make a localised version of the show. This week ABC - the same broadcaster who picked up Wife Swap and Millionaire - finally won, giving the series an initial 8-episode order.
It should come as no surprise to hear that FOX is now in negotiations to air a suspiciously similar-sounding Nanny 911.
