The ten hour-long shows will follow the work of emergency consultants, doctors and nurses as they provide life-saving treatments to their patients.
The show was filmed at Coventry's University Hospital and the trauma centre at Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital.
Each programme also follows emergency doctors and paramedics flying with the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Stories will include a postman who needed surgery after being attacked by a dog and a man who screwed himself to the roof of his garden shed.
The Real A&E begins in early May on Sky1.
