Agyeman: 'Doctor Who thrives on change'
Former Doctor Who star Freema Agyeman has claimed that the show thrives on change.

Discussing the recasting of The Doctor, the actress said that reinvention is the nature of the series.

She told DS: "People have got to start getting used to change in relation to the show because it's the one thing that's going to be constant for the next 40 years of its life!

"Of course, loyalty denotes that David is my Doctor and he's done a brilliant job but the nature of [Doctor Who] is about change."

When asked if she is returning to the show, the ex-assistant admitted that she is not sure, adding that it "might be in 30 years' time".
