'Law & Order: UK' ends runs with 5.6m
Law & Order: UK ended its run on Monday with a respectable 5.57m (23.5%) during the 9pm hour, according to the latest figures.

The episode, which centred on Freema Agyeman's character Alesha, pulled in 800k fewer than the first.

Audience figures for the series have varied since it began in February on ITV1, with an average of 5.86m (25%) tuning in over its seven-week run.

Also at 9pm, BBC One's Traffic Cops pulled in 4.34m (18.4%), and 2.19m (9.3%) watched Channel 4 documentary Henry VIII: Mind Of A Tyrant.

Heroes drew 1.56m (6.5%) for BBC, while Five was last for the hour, drawing 1.38m (5.8%) for Extreme Fishing With Robson Green.

Channel 4's Dispatches: Afghanistan - Mission Impossible logged a lowly 540k (2.2%) during the 8pm hour, and The Gadget Show attracted 990k (4.2%) for Five.

BBC One's Panorama, which looked at lives of the rich and the poor in Dubai, was seen by 2.97m (12.5%) between 8.30pm and 9pm.

Over on BBC Two, 2.62m (11%) tuned in for Railway Walks at 8pm. The audience then dipped to 2.35m (9.9%) during the final episode of James Wong's Grow Your Own Drugs.

ITV1's Taking On The Taxman: Tonight drew 3.25m (13.7%) between 8pm and 8.30pm.

Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 25.6% to BBC One's 22.2% . BBC Two was third with 6.4%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.3% (+1: 0.6%) and Five with 4%.

Elsewhere, the new episode of 24 pulled in 546k (2.6%) for Sky1 during the 9pm hour, while BBC Three's Heroes averaged 701k (5.5%) between 10.30pm and 11.15pm.

The first in a two-part series, The Hoff: When Scott Came To Stay, managed 372k (2.3%) for Living at 10pm.
