The actor revealed that working with Craig Charles, Chris Barrie and Danny John Jules again was "brilliant fun".
Speaking exclusively to DS, Llewellyn said of the reunion: "I had genuinely forgotten what a great time we all had. I've seen the guys regularly over the years but I don't think we'd been together like that for ten years.
"It was brilliant fun - more than we'd ever had. We get on really well and it's like hanging out with your best mates."
When asked about the possibility of the show returning for a full series, Llewellyn added: "It's all up for discussion. There are no plans that we're aware of, but I'd be interested if it came about."
The four have reunited for this weekend's Red Dwarf: Back To Earth special on Dave.
