A couple appearing in an upcoming episode of Wife Swap have split up as a result of taking part in the hit C4 show.
According to The Sun today, Jason and Becky Hill decided to end their relationship before filming had concluded. the couple have daughters aged four and five.
In the episode, due to air in October, Becky went to live with Desmond Thomas in Peterborough, Cambs, for ten days while Desmond’s wife Jacqueline moved in with Jason in Padiham, near Burnley, Lancs.
"My partner and I are no longer together — we split up because of Wife Swap," Becky, 30, told the newspaper. "The programme was responsible. It’s not an experience I would want to go through again. It was frightening.
"There is no bad blood between us. We just analysed our lives and thought, ‘It’s no good.’ I could not cope with another person dictating how my kids ran their lives. I am very easygoing, he is very strict."
