Deeley pitches 'Rescue' fashion show

Cat Deeley is pitching a fashion-based TV show to producers, say tabloid reports.

According to The Sun, the former CD:UK presenter wants to name the series Cat Rescue.

The show's format has been described as "Ugly Betty meets Watchdog". A source commented: "[Cat Rescue] has been doing the rounds for a while as it sounds so dreadful."

Deeley apparently wants to use the programme to "get the nation feeling better about themselves" and is reportedly in negotiations with ITV over a final deal.
