McCall in running for 'This Morning'?

Davina McCall is the latest star rumoured to be in the running for the presenting job on This Morning.

According to The Mirror, ITV director of television Peter Fincham is "a big fan" of the Big Brother host and would be interested in using her as a replacement for Fern Britton.

"Davina has been looking for a new challenge on TV and presenting This Morning would fit the bill," said a source.

"She is always game for trying things and would get stuck into everything from the cooking and fashion on the show to conducting the interviews.

"ITV boss Peter Fincham is a big fan of hers, so she is definitely a contender."

Myleene Klass, Fiona Phillips, Kate Garraway, Ruth Langsford and Gaby Roslin have also been linked to the job.

Ex-Big Breakfast presenter Roslin recently commented: "The chance to do live TV every day would be fabulous. I've known Phillip for years. I'd love to do it."

Fern Britton leaves This Morning in July.
