Spooks stars Matthew Mac-Fayden and Keeley Hawes have decided to quit the show.
When the third series begins in October, viewers will only see Matthew, who plays Tom Quinn on BBC One's hit spy drama, appearing in two episodes. Keeley, who plays Zoe Reynolds will leave in a later episode.
"Your senses get dull doing a long-running TV show," Matthew explained. "I can feel my skills getting a bit saggy."
The real-life couple are expecting a baby later this year.
