Published Wednesday, Aug 25 2004, 10:08 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
Angus Deayton is to present an upcoming ITV1 game show.
Deayton was forced to step down from his role as presenter of Have I Got News For You, following a series of tabloid allegations about his private life. However, he recently appeared back on our screens as the presenter of Hell's Kitchen.
The new show, titled Bognor or Bust, sees contestants competing for a holiday of a lifetime, by answering questions on recent news stories. Contestants will be able to choose two celebrities to help them to answer the questions.
The contestant who makes it to the final will be given the chance to win the dream holiday. Should they lose, they'll be awarded a weekend holiday to Bognor Regis instead.
The show begins on September 2nd. Celebrities including Tara Palmer Tomkinson and James Dreyfus are lined up to appear in the first episode.
