The first in the three-part series, Conditions, follows 18-year-old filmmaker Jordon Rolfe as he copes with life with ADHD, Tourettes Syndrome and OCD.
The second film, Life On Dialysis, is a day in the life of 18-year-old Sarah Coupe, who has not been to school since she was nine years old.
"I would like to show what its like to be me for just one day," said Sarah. "I take a cocktail of medicines, can only eat certain foods and I’m connected to a dialysis machine for two and a half hours every Monday through a line in my neck."
She continued: "Some people think it’s just the really old that need a new kidney, but I’d like to show them it affects young people too."
The final film in the series is titled How To Grieve? and looks at a group of young people who have all lost a parent.
The three short films will air on Channel 4 on Friday, May 15 from 9.55am.
