Comedian Jimmy Carr's Channel 4 game show Distraction has been picked up by US cable channel Comedy Central.
The channel has ordered fourteen episodes of an American version of the show with Jimmy Carr hosting. They will form part of the channel's fall schedule.
A spokesperson for the channel said: "We are huge fans of Jimmy's dry, cutting style... Jimmy was the obvious choice."
"We could have spent months trying to cast someone else, but at the end of the day, they wouldn't have been as funny as the original."
