Corrie at 40: Prince Charles to star

Prince Charles has joined the cast of Coronation Street for a storyline in tonight's live episode, it has been confirmed.
The Prince of Wales has been filmed in the storyline about a campaign to save the Street's infamous cobbles. Film of him meeting councillor Audrey Roberts will be screened on a news bulletin in the Rovers Return. Trevor McDonald also stepped in to 'report' on the events.
Cast members are currently rehearsing their lines in preparation for the episode, which goes out at 8pm this evening on ITV.
