The two-part documentary series sees the presenter explore breast cancer, discussing its treatments and stigmas.
Porter, whose mum died from breast cancer, will visit women who suffer with the disease and undergo tests herself to see if she has the precursors to the illness.
"I have wanted to make this film ever since I started working in TV," she said. "I feel like it’s the most personal mission I have been on, and despite the often distressing moments during filming I have never felt such satisfaction with a project."
She added: "It has been an inspiring and exciting journey. I hope it will educate, inform and offer a different perspective on the condition."
In addition, the channel will screen a new animal-focused series called Luke Gamble's Vet Adventures.
Dawn Porter: The Booby Trap is due to air on Sky1 in July, while Vet Adventures will arrive later in the year.
