Silla Carron will return to tackle another of Britain's troubled council estates when she heads to Plymouth for the new series.
"The first series of The Estate We're In proved a hit with viewers and critics alike, winning a Broadcast and RTS award," said BBC One's Liam Keelan. "It gets right to the heart of an issue which people care passionately about and I'm delighted to commission this new series."
The new five-part series will also see Carron track down local businesses in an attempt to persuade them to donate their time and resources to her project.
The Estate We're In is due to air next spring on BBC One.
