Actress Letitia Dean, aka EastEnders' Sharon Mitchell, is returning to the BBC soap, according to reports in the press.
32-year-old Letitia will make a comeback after a six year absence from the show which launched her television career in 1985. Sharon, the adopted daughter of Den and Angie, left for Florida on Christmas Day 1994, following the collapse of her marriage with hardman Grant.
John Yorke, Executive Producer of the soap, told The Mirror: "It's an honour to have an actor of Letitia's calibre back."
