Paul Daniels quits 'The Farm'
Published Tuesday, Sep 28 2004, 16:32 BST | By Neil Wilkes

Daniels quit early this morning but failed to convince his wife Debbie McGee - also a contestant - to join him.
A spokesman for the channel said that the row began during a discussion about the Iraq war. "It all kicked off with an argument about politics and the war," the spokesman told Media Guardian. "Vanilla is very pro-American and in your face, and Paul took exception to him. The pair of them squared up and Paul wagged his finger in his face.
"Paul slept on it last night but, when he woke up this morning and discovered there was no wood in the Aga he decided enough was enough. He had a heart-to-heart with Debbie and asked her to leave as well but she is enjoying life on the farm so much she told him she wanted to stay."
Footage of the incident and Daniels' subsequent departure will be shown on tonight's episode of The Farm, 10pm on Five.
