Over 11 million viewers tuned in for the premiere of Wife Swap in the US on Sunday night, according to early ratings figures.
The first episode - airing in a one-off Sunday, 10pm slot ahead of its regular timeslot premiere this Wednesday at 10pm - drew a total of 11.3 million viewers across the hour, making it the network's highest-rated show in the slot since April.
While it failed to win the hour in total viewers, losing out to NBC's Crossing Jordan, Wife Swap did come out firmly on top in the crucial 'Adults 18-49' demographic; in fact, second overall for the entire night on any network. The episode also notched up wins amongst Adults 18-34, Women 18-34, Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.
