Rod Stewart turns down reality TV show

Veteran rocker Rod Stewart has turned down an offer worth a reported £25 million to star in his own reality TV show.
The US version of MTV had offered the singer $9 million (£5 million) to do one series of a fly-on-the-wall, Osbournes-style show, with the promise of $36 million (£20 million) more if it was a ratings hit.
Explaining his decision to turn the show down, Rod said: "Private life is private."
He admitted his life would have made for an interesting show, however. When I look at my household with my kids and dogs and dog sh*t, it's very, very similar to Ozzy. Both of us have got this paranoia about dog poo. His family have four dogs and he said: 'Every time I look at my lovely house there's dog s**t because all my kids have little chihuahuas.'"
