Published Monday, Jun 22 2009, 14:50 BST | By Dan French

The three-part series, which reflects one policeman's quest to serve a rural community, also stars Ian McElhinney and will see guest appearances from Charlene McKenna and Doc Martin's Caroline Catz.
McConnell will play Jack Driscoll, a Sergeant with the Irish police who is completely at home in his new patch, but faces stress from being on call 24 hours a day.
The drama, which will explore how policing a rural community differs from city policing, sees Jack struggle to fill his father's shoes as his successor.
