BBC Two commissions 'Pointless' new show
BBC Two has commissioned a new game show called Pointless.

The show, presented by comedian Alexander Armstrong, will see five pairs of contestants compete for a cash prize - by winning the fewest points.

Every question on Pointless has been previously asked to a panel of 100 people to find out the most obvious and obscure answers. Players must then find the least obvious correct answer for each question.

BBC daytime controller Liam Keelan said of the show: "Pointless is a wonderfully irreverent addition to our portfolio of daytime quizzes, which I'm sure will keep viewers entertained."
