RSPCA tell viewers to boycott 'The Farm'

The RSPCA have made an official complaint to media watchdog Ofcom about Five's The Farm, according to The Sun today.

The complaint follows the channel's decision to broadcast a scene which saw contestant Debbie McGee cleaning a horse's genitals.

The show came under fire earlier this week when viewers saw Rebecca Loos pleasuring a pig. Yesterday, McGee artificially inseminated a pig with the semen that Rebecca had collected.

The RSPCA have called for a mass boycott of the show.

A spokesman told the newspaper, "This is the latest outrage. For an unskilled person to carry out this technique is risky and could harm the animal. It must be done properly."

"We are making an official complaint to Ofcom because there are so many gratuitous scenes on The Farm."

However, the controversy surrounding the show has seen ratings increase by 500,000 viewers.

A Five spokesman confirmed, "On Thursday the audience peaked at 1.8million compared to 1.3million two days earlier."
