'Grey's Anatomy' finale seen by 343,000

The 10pm season five cliffhanger, starring Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight, was beaten by ITV2's second visit to America's Got Talent, which took 548k (3.4%), and Sky1's Lie To Me, which logged 426k (2.6%). Also at 10pm, 275k (1.6%) tuned in for the series finale of My Name Is Earl on E4.
Katie & Peter: Stateside attracted 1m (5.3%) for ITV2 at 9pm, beating Living's Private Practice season two opener, which was seen by 171k (0.9%).
The Bill led the 8pm hour, pulling in a solid 4.19m (21.9%) for ITV1. BBC One's Celebrity Masterchef was close behind, interesting 4.17m (21.8%).
BBC Two's tennis roundup Today At Wimbledon managed 1.33m (7%), The Home Show put in 1.32m (6.9%) for Channel 4, and 515k (2.7%) watched Five's repeat of Paul Merton In India.
The second part of BBC One's Famous, Rich And Homeless was seen by 4.85m (23.2%), making it the most-watched programme at 9pm. Its nearest rival, a rerun of Trial and Retribution, took 2.42m (11.6%) for ITV1.
The Mentalist took 2.21m (10.6%) for Five and the second episode of Channel 4's Undercover Boss delivered 1.79m (8.6%).
The third part of BBC Two's Kröd Mändoon And The Flaming Sword Of Fire put in 1.12m (5.5%) at 9pm. The half-hour That Mitchell And Webb Look then took 1.06m (5%) at 9.30pm, and a new episode of Psychoville, starring Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, followed with 1.06m (5.5%).
Channel 4's Big Brother coverage averaged 1.76m (10.3%) during the 10pm hour, down around 980k on last year's equivalent episode.
Overall, BBC One came top during primetime with an average share of 23.9% to ITV1's 16.6%. Channel 4 was third with 7.5% (+1: 0.9%), followed by BBC Two with 7.5% and Five's 5.5%.
