Shortlist unveiled for TV Quick Awards

Ashes To Ashes will battle it out against Shameless, Skins and Spooks to the best drama series gong, while Britain's Got Talent faces competition from Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor and Dancing On Ice to be crowned best talent show.
The category of best reality show is also returning, with The Apprentice, Big Brother, The Secret Millionaire and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! each receiving nominations.
The best actress title is between Keeley Hawes (Ashes To Ashes), Billie Piper (Secret Diary Of A Call Girl), Denise Welch (Waterloo Road) and Kaya Scodelario (Skins), while Richard Armitage (Spooks), Philip Glenister (Ashes To Ashes), Neil Morrissey (Waterloo Road) and David Threlfall (Shameless) are all in the running for best actor.
Dramatic events from the past year in soap land will be determined in the best soap storyline category, with EastEnders' 'Danielle and Ronnie's Story' and 'Whitney and Tony Story' competing against Hollyoaks' 'Niall’s Revenge' and Emmerdale's 'Shane's Murder'.
