Morgan wants Cowell for 'Life Stories'

Piers Morgan has revealed that he would like Simon Cowell to appear on the second series of Life Stories.

The former journalist interviewed Sharon Osbourne, Sheila Hancock, Richard Branson, Ulrika Jonsson, Katie Price and Richard Madeley for the first series of the chatshow, which aired earlier this year.

Speaking on a video clip hosted on his official website, Morgan said: "ITV to my great delight have ordered a whole lot more for next year, and I'm already trying to secure my guests.

"Top of my list would be Simon Cowell, because I think that would be unmissable television. I'm hot on Alan Sugar's tail - Sir Alan."

He added: "Dame Helen Mirren, you're in my sights, you promised me that you'd come on the second series. Paul O'Grady, I badgered him on live TV yesterday so he couldn't get out of it.

"I'm trying to home in again as you can see on people who are open books, will tell a good story, have got brains, can talk for two hours and have had great highs and lows in their lives."

It has recently been reported that Morgan will also reprise his interview with Price to discuss her recent split from husband Peter Andre.
